The Orangery of St-Justin Castle: A 5-star haven of peace in the heart of the Armagnac Landes

Orangerie of Château Saint-Justin
Chateau de St Justin

Nestled in the bastide of St Justin, between Bordeaux and Pau, Château St Justin is a place of exception that evokes calm and voluptuousness. Dating from the 1840s, this castle was built on the foundations of an older residence by an Empire general, former director of the École de Saint Cyr. Today, it stands majestically in the middle of an English park, home to rare species such as an impressive 40-meter tall cedar tree and century-old chestnut and lime trees.

In this idyllic setting is the Orangerie, a 19th century building that has recently been renovated. With an area of 80 m², this cottage, once dedicated to the oranges of the castle, can now accommodate up to 4 people. The spacious bedroom comfortably accommodates two people, while the living room is equipped with a sofa bed that can accommodate two more. Every morning, a continental breakfast will be served to you, blending the sweetness of tradition with the modernity of the place.

From your private terrace, admire the stunning views of the park and the castle. For an extra touch of luxury, the Orangerie is also equipped with a private Jacuzzi, perfect for unforgettable moments of relaxation. In addition, a private parking lot is at your disposal.

If you feel like moving, the surroundings of St Justin are full of activities. Whether you are a fan of hiking, cycling, horseback riding or golf, you will find your happiness nearby. In addition, the castle is ideally located to discover the pearls of the region: 1h20 from Bordeaux, 20 km from Barbottan-les-Thermes, 34 km from Eugénie-les-bains, and only 5 km from the sublime Place Royale de Labastide d'Armagnac.
